Story: Pat is a womens sports sensation unless her fiancé is around. Her new shady manager Mike keeps them apart and develops feelings for her.

Pats a brilliant athlete, except when her domineering fiance is around. The ladies golf championship is in her reach until she gets flustered by his presence at the final holes. He wants them to get married and forget the whole thing, but she cant give up on herself that easily. She enlists the help of Mike, a slightly shady sports promoter. Together they face mobsters, a jealous boxer, and a growing mutual attraction.

Pat Pemberton is a womens sports sensation--a champion in golf, tennis, and whatever else she decides to do. Knowing a good thing when he sees it, Mike Conovan becomes her manager. Mike has made his living fixing sports events, but he tries to go legit before Pat finds out his schemes.
