Episode Info: In "Meet the Reaper", Billy and Mandy, two neighbor kids, play a game with the Grim Reaper for the soul of a sick hamster. In "Skeletons In the Water Closet", Billys overprotective mom discovers the Grim Reaper sleeping in her sons room and panic ensues, particularly when Billys dad doesnt see Grim and is convinced that his wife has cracked.

Story: The ill-tempered Grim Reaper gets into a wager that forces him to become the life-long companions of two scheming youngsters after he loses.

The series is centered around the exploits of two young children-the optimistic, dim-witted, and kindhearted Billy, and the dark, ill-tempered, sinister, and very intelligent Mandy. After cheating at a limbo match against the Grim Reaper (out of retaliation for putting the limbo rod too low for them to go under), he is enslaved in a perpetual, unwanted friendship with the children, who use his magical abilities and supernatural powers to venture into supernatural locations or environments, such as the underworld, inhabited by an assortment of grotesque monstrous beasts. The pair also may use Grims enormously strong supernatural abilities or ties with a number of beastly characters to achieve goals or desires for themselves with grotesque, altered, or twisted end results. Famed fictional monsters including Dracula, the Wolfman, and the bogeyman are also comically depicted in the series, which also includes the characters of the nerdy, awkward Irwin and the snobby, stuck-up, spoiled Mindy.

This series is a pairing of two separate cartoons. One is about the Grim Reaper, who after losing a bet, is forced to become the playmate of two children. One is Bill, a cheerful, but dimwitted little boy, and Mandy, a cynical, devious little girl. The other cartoon features the exploits of the evil Hector Cancarne, the disembodied brain of a man who plots world domination. Unfortunately, after his body exploded, his brain was placed in a jar and he became forced rely on a thick-headed bear named Boscoe to perform the physical tasks he was once capable of doing himself. Since the preliminary run of the cartoon, the "Evil" portion has peeled off and the exploits of Hector Cancarne is no longer its own cartoon. The series has been re-titled "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" and occasional appearances of cartoon characters from the preliminary "Evil" portion have made their way into an assortment of episodes.
