Story: After a hunting accident leaves the town mayor dead, teenage brothers Nate and Skylar go on the run from the mayors family, who have declared open season on them.

Bloom Towne is a small-town sheriff under the thumb of the well-established, deeply influential Mayor Dick Cavanaughs family. When Blooms two teenage sons, Nate and Skylar accidentally shoot and kill Dick during a deer-hunt, Blooms long-held allegiance to the reigning Cavanaugh clan is tested. Skylar (still a minor) decides to take the wrap for his older brother Nate, claiming he fired the fatal shot. The Cavanaugh familys quick retaliation sends Skylar on his way to county jail, soon to be tried as an adult. Desperate and guilt-ridden, Nate breaks Skylar out of jail and sets off a chain of lawless acts, which send them deep into the woods and on the run. Blooms choice between the law and his sons leads to revelations of old family secrets that threaten to destroy everything he loves.

The story of teenage brothers Nate and Skylar Towne, coming of age in a small town with dirty police, crooked family politics and too many guns. The boys are involved in a hunting accident which ends the life of the beloved town mayor Dick Cavanaugh. Knowing they have no shot at justice, the bothers make a desperate attempt at freedom. Their father, the Chief of Police, has to reexamine his own moral fabric as Marshall law is declared and his sons are hunted.
