Story: E.B., the Easter Bunnys teenage son, heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock n roll band. In LA, hes taken in by Fred after the out-of-work slacker hits E.B. with his car.

Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny and must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the worlds worst house guest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.

More than anything in the world, E.B., the teenage son of the famous Easter Bunny, yearns to be a successful rocknroll drummer, despite his fathers wish to take over Easter Islands candy and coloured eggs factory. As a result, E.B. having high hopes of making it big, goes on a trip to sunny Hollywood, where an unforeseen complication will soon lead to an unlikely alliance with the thirty-something slacker, Fred. However, as man and cartoon try to find the perfect career, something strange disrupts Easter Islands peace. Will E.B. choose fame over family tradition?
