Story: Wealthy author Ajay Pandit befriends angry and poor Deva, who lives in the nearby slums with his widower father. After the two men grow up, Ajay falls in love with Sonali, while Deva continues to live a life of destitution. After the local Poojary poisons potable water,leading to many deaths, Deva beats him up, and is awarded. Shortly thereafter, Deva himself will be on the run from the police; his father will be arrested for possession of arms and ammunition; and Ajay will find himself arrested and prosecuted for hiding Deva. Deva (Mithun) is a poor villager who lives with his father. All Deva wants is that his village gets clean water. Deva befriends a rich guy Ajay (Atul Agnihotri) who helps with Devas plight. Dozens of villagers die when the village priest "Pandit" (Rana Jung Bahadur) poisons the water in the village on the order of Ajays uncle Jagdambar (Bharat Kapoor). Jagdambar wants the villagers out so that he can sell the land to an American company for millions. In anger Deva kills the priest and Ajays uncle along with a minister who was helping Ajays uncle. Deva flees India and inadvertently gets on a ship to Malaysia. There he meets Taoke (Gulshan Grover) when he saves his life from a hit man. Deva becomes a feared criminal, even becoming an enemy of Taoke after disagreeing with his line of work. He meets Sonia (Pooja Bhatt) and Zakir (Mushtaq Khan) and together they fight against Taokes injustice. Deva and his friends are on the run with Malaysias Police Commissioner Pritam Singh (Avtaar Gill) hot on their trail. Will Deva succeed in getting water to his village? Will Ajay find and save Deva in time? Will Deva and Sonia survive the hail of bullets both from the Police and Taoke?
