Story: Food influencer Scarlett Bailey is presented with the opportunity of a lifetime to work as a pastry chef in one of NYCs top restaurants. Her life gets put on hold when she returns to her hometown for her sister Maddies wedding. Scarlett learns that her parents have sold the family home, a B&B, to her childhood flame Liam Perry and that Maddie has lost her wedding venue days before the nuptials. Scarlett suggests they host the event at the B&B and works with Liam to pull off the wedding of Maddies dreams, trying to put their history behind them. As her dream job in NYC becomes a firm offer, Scarlett is forced to make a decision. She has been falling back in love with Liam and with her childhood home. Scarlett Bailey, home taught, is trying to eke out a career as a pastry chef in New York City, she, currently freelancing, hosting a successful online baking show. She may have achieved her ultimate goal when she catches the attention of Chef Rudolph, a multi-Michelin-starred New York restaurateur who wants her to come in to apply for the job as his pastry chef. In-between now and her audition for Chef Rudolph, Scarlett is heading home for a week to small town Wimberley as the maid of honor at her sister Maddie Baileys wedding, it their last get-together as a family in town as their parents, Olivia and Robert Bailey, have sold the family home, a bed and breakfast, and will be moving to Florida shortly after the wedding. Quickly after her arrival, Scarlett learns that Maddie has to find another wedding venue for the big event in five days, meaning starting from scratch as the previous venue was all-inclusive. Taking on the role as the wedding planner, Scarlett believes the bed and breakfast could be that alternate venue, which means getting the approval from the new owner, Liam Perry, a hometown boy recently returned after years in big city California, and Scarletts summer camp romance at age sixteen, he who she has not seen since then. Liams reluctant okay is solely in not believing it can be done to Scarlett and thus Maddies liking in five days. They initially butt heads in their different visions of transforming the bed and breakfast into a wedding ready venue, but romantic sparks between them begin to fly as time progresses. Beyond their different life visions in Liam having returned for that small town life while Scarlett sees her future in the New York big leagues, the other issue in they getting together is that Scarlett is already in a serious relationship with consultant Geoff, who seems more interested in them as a New York power couple than in Scarlett as a success in whatever she decides to do with her life.
