Episode Info: D.W., All Fired Up: What exactly is a fire drill anyway? When Ms. Morgan announces theyll be having one during preschool, D.W. wants no part of it -- it sounds way too scary. Can she manage to stay home from school every day until the danger passes? Id Rather Read It Myself: The Tibble Twins are better than D.W. at just about everything -- they can yell louder, bounce higher, and even get dizzier. It would be great if D.W. could at least read before the Tibbles could! Can she spin a tale dazzling enough to convince them she can?

Story: Based on the books by Marc Brown, these are the adventures of Arthur, an 8-year-old aardvark, and his family and friends as they grow up and learn how to be good neighbors to one another.

Bespectacled aardvark Arthur Read demonstrates to kids how to deal with such childhood traumas and challenges as homework, teachers and bullies. He also has to contend with his sisters, but loves playing with his friends: tomboy Francine, foodie and best pal Buster, super smart Brain, rich girl Muffy and geography expert Sue Ellen.

The adventures of 8-year-old Aardvark Arthur Read. When hes not at home being hounded by his obnoxious, but scene-stealing little sister D.W. and his working class parents, hes finding educational misadventure at school with his pals: would-be bully Binky, pompous Francine, spoiled rich girl Muffy, genius Brain, and his best friend Buster. Arthur and the gang get into some pretty wild trouble sometimes, like the time Arthur and Brain are taunted by a dark-humored crossing guard, when Arthur, Brain and Binky find a key and fight about it, when Arthur and D.W. have to run the house when Mom and Dad fall ill, and many more.
