Episode Info: Victor discovers the stolen key to the attic on the floor of his office and demands that whoever returned it come forward. In a show of solidarity, everyone admits that they returned it. Fabian and Nina visit Fabians antique dealer uncle to identify the mysterious ceramic cylinders that they found in the locked box. Fabians uncle identifies them as early Edison phonographic cylinders.

Story: When one of their number disappears on the same day that an American girl joins their ranks, a group of English boarding school students embarks on solving a mystery.

American scholarship student Nina Martin arrives at her new school - an English boarding school with a dormitory named after the Egyptian god of death, Anubis. Upon her arrival, fellow student Joy suddenly leaves the school. When Joys friends, Ninas new housemates, confront her about Joys disappearance, suspicion quickly turns to the draconian groundskeeper of Anubis House, Victor. Nina and the other students embark on a quest to find out exactly what happened to Joy, while uncovering a world of mystery in the process.
