Episode Info: Merlin spies on the troll and steals the potion she uses to resemble Catrina, replacing it with a fake one made by Gaius. Consequently she turns back into a troll, in view of everybody, but Uther, still bewitched by her, fails to see this. Merlin learns that the only way to break the spell on him is to make him weep real tears. Thus Gaius prepares another potion, which Arthur drinks, and makes him appear to be dead. This does the trick and the king finally comes to his senses. Arthur kills the troll and Jonas and thanks Merlin for his efforts.

Story: These are the brand new adventures of Merlin, the legendary sorcerer as a young man, when he was just a servant to young Prince Arthur on the royal court of Camelot, who has soon become his best friend, and turned Arthur into a great king and a legend.

Young Merlin (Colin Morgan) is a teenager, discovering and then learning to master his magical gift. Magister Gaius (Richard Wilson), King Uther Pendragons (Anthony Heads) learned court physician to whom hes assigned as humble page, teaches him medicine, coaches his magical self-study, and warns him of Uthers strong aversion to magic. Merlin becomes squire to the noble but imprudent crown Prince, Arthur (Bradley James), whose fate is linked with Merlin.

This is a story of young Merlin (Colin Morgan), a simple servant to young Prince Arthur (Bradley James) in royal court of Camelot.They soon became best friends, but Merlin has a secret: hes a mighty sorcerer who has to hide his magical powers even from Arthur, so that he can stay alive.
