Episode Info: When Galen hurts his leg and cant travel, Virdon and Burke seek refuge in a farm till their friend recovers. The farm is operated by a gruff but decent ape named Polar, his wife Zantes, and their three children: older son Anto, younger son Remus, and daughter Jillia. Polar puts to work the two strangers who teach him about contour farming, windmill building, seed selection, etc. Polar soon accepts these changes but Anto resents the strangers, fearing they will hex a cow about to give birth. (Until the cow delivers a bull calf, Anto cant start a farm of his own.) ...

Story: Two astronauts and a sympathetic chimp friend are fugitives in a future Earth dominated by a civilization of humanoid apes.

Television series about a group of astronauts who travel in time and become marooned on a planet. Unbeknownst to them, they are actually on future Earth. The astronauts encounter an advanced civilization run by apes, but supported by enslaved human workers.

En route to Alpha Centuri at the start of the 1980s, a spaceship is somehow thrown forwards in time, and crashlands on a strange planet. One of the astronauts is dead, but the other two learn that it is 21 March 3085, theyre on Earth, and the world is ruled by apes. Upon their capture by the ruthless General Urko, Dr Zaiuss new assistant (Galen) discovers that there were other human astronaut visitors, whose very existence was kept secret. He and Zaius want to study them, but when Urko plots to have them shot for escaping, Galen accidentally kills a guard, and becomes a fugitive. Together, they search for the other intelligent humans they think have survived, plus a way to return home.
