Episode Info: Meredith Hortweldine secures the services of Jeff and Jeannie because he suspects his twin brother Jasper is plotting to kill him. Jasper has the same notion about Meredith and employs a rival detective duo called Marshall and Snellgrove. A bomb explodes, killing Meredith and Snellgrove, the latters ghost teaming up with Marty to unmask the murderer. Marty also discovers that he was claimed before his time and that another Martin Hopkirk should have died in his stead.

Story: Randall and Hopkirk are detective partners with a difference: one of them is a ghost.

A remake of the 1969 British sitcom. Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk are partners in a detective and security firm. When Marty is killed in a car accident, he returns as a ghost to help his old partner solves cases. Only Randall can see his dead partner, though Marty is able to move objects through supernatural means.
