Episode Info: Conor discovers the spear that Longinus used to kill Christ on Golgatha and wields it to unite the Celtic tribes against the Romans. Concerned about the effect the spear is having on their friend, Caitlin and Fergus steal the relic and return it to its hiding place only to discover that Longinus is not far behind.

Story: In 5th century Ireland, a young Celtic chieftain and his allies fight against Roman encroachment, the manipulative pro-Roman puppet ruler of Ireland, Queen Diana, and her immortal adviser who seeks the biblical Spear of Longinus.

Conor is the orphaned heir of one of the many tribal leaders of hopelessly divided Hibernia (ancient Ireland). With his faithful but unenthusiastic servant and protector Fergus he wanders trough the island, fighting injustice and aspiring to unite the druidic, yet internecine Celts in order to free the country from Roman rule. Most dangers and opponents he faces are largely or completely mythical, the most remarkable being Longinus, the eternally cursed but immortal, cruel and vindictive Roman centurion at Christs crucifixion who forges evil alliances.
