Episode Info: After CeCes mother insists that she improve her grades or get pulled from the show, Deuce hires a tutor for her, who turns out to be a child prodigy that also becomes a new friend for Flynn, and leads to an embarrassing secret about CeCe. Meanwhile when Tinka laments over the lack of romance in her life, Gunther pays Ty to go on dates with her, and both find they might actually enjoy each others company.

Story: Two Chicago teens attempt to realize their dream of becoming professional dancers by landing spots on a popular local show.

The adventures of best friends CeCe Jones and Rocky Blue who, with the help of Rockys brother Ty and his best friend Deuce Martinez, fulfill their dreams of becoming professional dancers when they land roles as dancers on a local show, "Shake It Up, Chicago!". CeCe and Rocky deal with their circumstances, by adapting and maintaining their social status at school while watching CeCes little brother, Flynn, and the antics of their TV show which includes matching the skills of their competition, notably brother and sister, Gunther and Tinka. The show also has storylines which include Rockys brother, who also has dance and rapping skills.
