The story is told through the eyes of three characters, whose lives were thrown into the heart of battle and its intoxicating, addictive effects as well as its absurdities.

On 6 October 1973 Egypt and Syria launched a surprise attack on Israel, taking advantage of Israelis celebrating the holiday of Yom Kippur. An area of strategic importance was the Golan Heights, on the border of Israel and Syria. We see this crucial battle unfold through the eyes of a few Israeli combatants.
