Episode Info: Gavin and his ex-wife bring their son to the school for his interview and theyre worried that the haircut he got might not make a good impression on the head master. So they bring Skylar along who was the one who brought their son for his haircut to explain. But when the man meets her he can only think about hooking up with her. Later when they go to his place, he makes a move which she rebuffs. And when Gavin and his ex hear about it, theyre worried this ruins their sons chances.

Story: A party girl starts a new life as an employee at a family-run bookstore.

Skyler Dayton is tired of her non-stop partying lifestyle and bad choices in boyfriends. Wanting a major life change, she wanders into "The Stacks," a small family-run bookstore owned by Gavin Dewitt and his brother, Stuart. Divorced and unlucky in love himself, Gavins inclined to regard Skyler as an embodiment of the vacuous, image-obsessed culture he has come to abhor. Stuart, however, is dazzled by Skylers beauty and, much to Gavins horror, offers her a job at their store, which she happily accepts as the first step in her quest for a steadier lifestyle. Unhappy that shes going to be minding the till next to such an intimidating bombshell is the stores sole other employee, Katrina, who doles out doses of realism and cynicism. Rounding out the characters is the stores one steady customer, Harold March a preeminent but retired rocket scientist.
