Episode Info: Carol discovers at Brendans 6th birthday that a traditional Lambert bowling day isnt his preference, so she arranges a regular kids party, with popular clown Yo-Yo. Alas the star cancels at the last minute, so Frank steps in. Meanwhile the authorities reported Frank and Carols Jamaican wedding was illegal, so a city hall repeat is required. Unlike Frank, Carol insists on a romantic production. As the reverend she wants to reside is about to leave, it has to coincide with Brendans party and actually gets merged in.

Story: Two families become one, step by step.

Frank Lambert is a construction worker and a single father of 3 kids: J.T., Alicia "Al", and Brendan. Carol Foster, a beautician, also has 3 children: Dana, Karen, and Mark. After Frank and Carol run into each other on vacation and spontaneously get married, they and their children (who appeared to have known and hated each other) have to learn to live together and love each other. Its not easy, but they are trying to do this step by step.
