Episode Info: When Olive becomes class treasurer and accidentally loses the money for the ice cream truck she promised her class, Sydney helps her get it back. Young Max offers to accompany his mom to a wedding but does not know how to dance.

Story: Set in the present day with flashbacks to the 1990s, the comedy revolves around outgoing middle-schooler Sydney Reynolds, who lives with her single dad Max and her progressive grandmother Judy--three generations under one roof.

A heartwarming, sentimental comedy, "Sydney to the Max" centers around the experiences of sociable, goodhearted middle-schooler Sydney Reynolds and her protective, doting--and sometimes clueless--single dad Max as they navigate the challenges of growing up. Set during two time frames decades apart, flashback scenes to young Max and his best friend Leo in the 1990s parallel many of the funny predicaments Sydney and her BFF Olive get themselves into. VHS camcorders, bleached skater hair and other 90s-defining "relics" aside, Sydney and Max come to realize, aided by Sydneys kicky grandmother Judy, whos well-versed in Maxs childhood antics, that they have more in common than they think.
