Episode Info: As a contestant on Art Linkletters television show, Lucy is offered $200 if she can shut up for 24 hours. Art sends along another audience member, Ruth, to see how she does. Ruths a plant from the show who tries her best to make Lucy scream, as are the one-armed "fugitive" and cop who shoot it out in her apartment, and the guy in the gorilla suit that attacks her. Ruth is played by Doris Singleton who played Carolynn Applebey on I Love Lucy. This is another wonderfully funny fourth season episode.

Story: The wacky misadventures of a forever-scheming woman, her reluctant best friend, and her cantankerous boss.

After her husbands death, Lucy Carmichael and her recently-divorced best friend Vivian Bagley move into a house together with their children. The series follows the adventures of the widow Lucy as she grapples with the comic complications of life on her own, with her income being controlled by impatient, grumpy banker Mr. Mooney.
