Episode Info: Geraldine decides that, as an experiment, Dibley should have its own local radio station. Alice is due to interview David but he is rude to her on air so Geraldine devises a quiz, pitting them against each other and, as Alices questions are all about her family, she wins it. Frank has an hours slot all to himself but, as he is notoriously boring, nobody listens to it - thereby missing his public confession of coming out as being gay.

Story: A boisterous female minister comes to serve in an eccentricly conservative small towns church.

The 100-something vicar of the small English village of Dibley has passed on. A new vicar has been requested for a replacement. What they get is Geraldine Granger, a non-traditional, chocolate loving, rock n roll playing vicar. That is not what gets the citizens of Dibley in a uproar though. Its because she is a woman. Still, that doesnt stop Geraldine from proving her worthiness to the village. After time, the villagers (with the exception of influential David Horton) accept Geraldine as The Vicar of Dibley.
