Episode Info: While on a hike, the kids and Jeb discover an abandoned building in the middle of nowhere. Kaitlin takes a photo of the building and spots a man in a room with bars on the windows, sitting next to a strange "S" symbol on the wall. After enhancing the pictures at the lab, the teens discover that the man looks a lot like Ryans father. Grimlord launches an attack. While J.B. and Kaitlin deal with the attack, Ryan returns to the building to find his dad. Grimlord is defeated but Ryan gets to the building too late. It is empty.

Story: A trio of teenagers gain powers from "Virtual Reality" to fight the evil forces of Grimlord.

Industrialist Carl Ziktors virtual alter-ego Grimlord worked on the creation of an army made of warrior robots. And, before he became missing for two years, Ryan Steels father worked with Professor Hart to prevent Grimlords efforts by developing the ultimate weapon using the most advanced technology man had ever seen to stop him.
