Episode Info: Friends and family gather for the funeral of Wills father. During the reception everyone shares fond last memories of Wills father, while Wills last memory is not as pleasant. As he tries to come to terms with their last fight, Marilyn helps him realize the changes he must make in his life. Meanwhile, Grace attempts to comfort the grieving younger members of the family and begins to doubt her ability to be a good mother.

Story: Gay lawyer Will and straight interior designer Grace share a New York City apartment. Their best friends are gleeful and proud gay Jack and charismatic, filthy-rich, amoral socialite Karen.

Gay lawyer Will Truman (Eric McCormack) and straight interior designer Grace Adler (Debra Messing) are best friends living in New York City. Grace is engaged to a real jerk until the relationship falls apart and she moves in with Will. Its supposed to be temporary, until Grace finds her own place, but more and more it looks like a permanent arrangement. Graces secretary and assistant is fun-loving wealthy socialite Karen Walker (Megan Mullally); Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) is Wills flamboyant gay friend.
