Episode Info: Merlin sees Mordred helping Kara, a wounded Druid with whom he was once in love, but agrees to keep it secret. Later Kara tries to kill Arthur and is sentenced to death, with Arthur turning down Mordreds pleas for mercy. Mordred uses magic to help Kara escape but they are recaptured and Kara is executed. Merlin rightly fears this will make Mordred determined to destroy Arthur; and, sure enough, he flees and goes to see Morgana, revealing to her that Emrys is Merlin.

Story: These are the brand new adventures of Merlin, the legendary sorcerer as a young man, when he was just a servant to young Prince Arthur on the royal court of Camelot, who has soon become his best friend, and turned Arthur into a great king and a legend.

Young Merlin (Colin Morgan) is a teenager, discovering and then learning to master his magical gift. Magister Gaius (Richard Wilson), King Uther Pendragons (Anthony Heads) learned court physician to whom hes assigned as humble page, teaches him medicine, coaches his magical self-study, and warns him of Uthers strong aversion to magic. Merlin becomes squire to the noble but imprudent crown Prince, Arthur (Bradley James), whose fate is linked with Merlin.

This is a story of young Merlin (Colin Morgan), a simple servant to young Prince Arthur (Bradley James) in royal court of Camelot.They soon became best friends, but Merlin has a secret: hes a mighty sorcerer who has to hide his magical powers even from Arthur, so that he can stay alive.
