Episode Info: After visiting her fathers grave, Guinevere is captured by Morgana and imprisoned in the infamous Dark Tower haunted by ghostly visions and screams. Merlin and Arthur lead the knights in a rescue mission but get lost in the thick and aptly named Impenetrable Forest. Mab, the fairy queen of this forest, appears to Merlin and shows him how to guide the others through it but tauntingly reveals that one will not return. Arriving at the tower, they save Guinevere but at the cost of a man. None, however, realise that Guinevere is a changed woman thanks to Morgana.

Story: These are the brand new adventures of Merlin, the legendary sorcerer as a young man, when he was just a servant to young Prince Arthur on the royal court of Camelot, who has soon become his best friend, and turned Arthur into a great king and a legend.

Young Merlin (Colin Morgan) is a teenager, discovering and then learning to master his magical gift. Magister Gaius (Richard Wilson), King Uther Pendragons (Anthony Heads) learned court physician to whom hes assigned as humble page, teaches him medicine, coaches his magical self-study, and warns him of Uthers strong aversion to magic. Merlin becomes squire to the noble but imprudent crown Prince, Arthur (Bradley James), whose fate is linked with Merlin.

This is a story of young Merlin (Colin Morgan), a simple servant to young Prince Arthur (Bradley James) in royal court of Camelot.They soon became best friends, but Merlin has a secret: hes a mighty sorcerer who has to hide his magical powers even from Arthur, so that he can stay alive.
