Episode Info: Mary is placed on administrative leave pending the investigation of the FBIs raid on her house at the conclusion of the previous season. (The FBI unsuccessfully searched Marys house for the drugs that her sister Brandi was holding for Brandis boyfriend, Chuck.) While on leave, Marys cases are given to Marshall, but Mary is allowed to work unofficially -- as Marshalls deputy -- when one of Marys witnesses, who had been taken into the program 17 years earlier, dies under mysterious circumstances.

Story: U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon must hunt down witnesses for federal cases in the witness protection program while also managing a rather dysfunctional family and her own personal life.

Mary Shannon is a U.S. Marshal in the witness protection program who spends her time relocating federal witnesses.. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mary works with her partner, Marshall Mann, to place criminals and innocent witnesses into new lives. When not putting her life on the line to protect federal witnesses, Mary attempts to manage her dysfunctional family, including overly dependent mother, Jinx, and younger sister, Brandi, both of whom live with her. Between work and family, Mary has little time for boyfriend Raphael Ramirez who plays minor league baseball.
