Episode Info: Someone from Washington comes to New Mexico to shoot a new U.S. Marshalls training video and they are instructed to give the director any help they can. And Mary balks at it so Marshall offers to be the technical advisor but when he learns that the son of one his witnesses, Joseph Tancredi has died, he has to go tell him. Joseph wants to go to the funeral but WITSEC rules forbids it. So Joseph decides to leave the program. Marshall then decides to use his vacation and accompany him to Chicago. Mary in the meantime is not being a team player with the director.

Story: U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon must hunt down witnesses for federal cases in the witness protection program while also managing a rather dysfunctional family and her own personal life.

Mary Shannon is a U.S. Marshal in the witness protection program who spends her time relocating federal witnesses.. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mary works with her partner, Marshall Mann, to place criminals and innocent witnesses into new lives. When not putting her life on the line to protect federal witnesses, Mary attempts to manage her dysfunctional family, including overly dependent mother, Jinx, and younger sister, Brandi, both of whom live with her. Between work and family, Mary has little time for boyfriend Raphael Ramirez who plays minor league baseball.
